Afro-centric exercises
This is done via the means of a Quiz. A fun and educative quiz has been created in a powerpoint format. The questions are quite simple and general. It covers various themes and aspect of the African culture. Particpants are shown various questions and they will be asked to answer by choosing an option and moving their body. This helps to encourage bodily movement while also learning about Africa in a fun and easy way.
Dance workshops
Dance is a vital part of every African culture. It is used to express all sorts of emotions and used to represent the different cultures that surround the continent. During the workshop, some contemporary and old moves are taught in the form of a choreography. Simultaneously, the dance instructors will tell the story behind every primary/significant dance style, its background and the people involved in making these dance styles a viral activity. The primary purpose of the dance workshop is to immerse a part of these cultures so people can feel a semblance of it in a cool and safe environment.
